Important Parent Teacher Conference Information

Tuesday, March 3rd will be our “traditional” PTC format where teachers will be available in the middle school commons from 5:00-8:00. Any parent will be able to come and visit with teachers about the progress of their student.
Wednesday, March 4th staff will be conferencing with specific students and parents who need additional support. Middle school staff will not be available for “traditional” conferences because of these scheduled conferences. Our goal with this format is to continue offering easy access to teachers while also working closely with students and their families to ensure the best educational success possible. As a staff we’re excited to make these changes and improve our system. Thank you for your support while we make this transition.
The high school is also implementing this system but on an opposite schedule. Tuesday will be their scheduled conference night and Wednesday will be the traditional open house.

Principal's Message

Welcome to Mountain View Middle School located in the beautiful Bridger Valley.

With approximately 195 students enrolled in grades 6-8, we're able to offer our students excellent opportunities for learning by having smaller class sizes. Our 7 period schedule allows students to receive 50 minutes of instruction in all core areas each day. We offer multiple elective courses students are able to take while enrolled at MVMS: Family Consumer Science, Wood Shop, Drafting, Science Exploration, Band, Choir, and Art. We also offer multiple extra curricular programs: Gear Up, Destination Imagination, Student Service Group, Student Council along with the following sports for 7th/8th grade: Cross Country, Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Swimming, Wrestling, and Track. 6th graders can participate in Swimming, Cross Country, and Wrestling.
