Sports Zone

We believe that participation in sports and activities provides a wealth of opportunities and experiences which assist students in personal growth and adjustments. We would like to take this opportunity to acquaint you with specific policies that are necessary for a well-organized program of activities.

Be prepared by getting your physical early and listening to the announcements for a sign-up meeting (usually a week or two before the season starts). Coaches will give more specific information at this meeting.

In accordance with the regulations of the Wyoming High School Activities Association (WHSAA), one physical examination is required for participation in the full year's activity program. This physical exam must be on file in the athletic office prior to any participation in practice or competitions. No practice days may be counted until the physical is on file in the athletic office.

Activities that require yearly physical examinations include basketball, cheerleading, cross country, dance team, football, golf, gymnastics, skiing, soccer, swimming, tennis, track, volleyball, and wrestling.
